A graphical www-browser for the Console and X
Netsurf-framebuffer is under development

What is it good for ?
Lightweightness & Graphics. No X needed
Extremely good page-layout for a Console web-browser
Mouse-wheel scrolling (only without X)

Useability is pretty good for Console but still buggy:
Invisible text-cursor and some key-bindings missing
Auto-repeat of keys doesn't always function well
No page scaling, but chooseable startup resolutions
e.g. netsurf-sdl -w 1024 -h 768 -b 16 www.scroogle.org
Local history thumbnails are all black
Sometimes pc freezes, especialy under X !

You are warned hereby for occasional disfunctioning:
This software is only ment for an experimental test drive
So use Netsurf-SDL at your own risc
Netsurf GTK version is better suited for X
Please use Netsurf GTK for more options and stability
